Geothirbhavan - Making a Difference in Lives- Personal , Relational & Professional

Georgean Centre was established at Pala in 1982 by the great psycho-spiritual visionary Rev. Fr.Geo Kappalumackal (1932-2009), a Catholic Priest from the Diocese of Palai, Kerala, South India. The Centre was committed to offer specialized and personally responsive services to people from various walks of life through psycho-religious therapy, a healing and 'wellness' technique developed by Fr.Geo through his 45 years of research and experience. The Centre served as a beacon of hope for thousands of people from all walks of life. More than fifty thousand people, suffering from fear, anxiety, depression, multiple-personality disorders and other psychological illnesses were brought back to healthy mental state.

On 22 October, 2009, Fr. Geo was called to his eternal reward. During his last days, Rev. Fr. Geo entrusted the Centre to CMI St. Joseph Province, Kottayam to continue his mission of psycho-spiritual healing. The CMI Congregation is the fruit of Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the great visionary of Kerala Church and the pioneer of educational endeavours in India. Incorporating the vision of Blessed Chavara with the mission of Rev. Fr. Geo Kappalumackal, the Centre is now re-organized and re-dedicated to the service of educational institutions and the community. The Centre is renamed as Geothirbhavan - Georgean CMI Centre for Counselling, Training and Transformation.
